My name is DeAnna. I am a wife and a mother of two teen boys. I write. I speak. I teach. And I enjoy the dark.
In the dark, those places the Lord sends me to minister, I get to see the light of Christ's love and Truth shine bright as it leads the lost, bound, and broken people out. I am a missionary that goes wherever God says and am found on the streets, an Indian Reservation, and Recovery Programs/Shelters for addicted and abused mothers. Every week, I share the Good News, the way out of the darkness, through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ with mother after mother. I have seen the power of Christ's Truth set many free and cause the cycles of brokenness come to a halt. Children's lives are now fragranced by a mother who is made whole through Christ, and learning to live a new way.
There is a way out of our lifestyle of sin. " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Roman 3:23
The perfect sacrifice has been provided. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
There is love everlasting waiting to be known. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.' John 3:16
We are offered the greatest gift through Christ. "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace." Ephesians 1:7
The Lord has done a mighty work in my life and continues His loving endeavor on my behalf. My two boys have suffered great physical affliction and continue through physical difficulties. My older boy has had seven surgeries, a freak accident and obscure afflictions. My youngest was diagnosed with an incurable, untreatable muscle wasting disease with a horrific prognosis. Physical affliction has not forgotten me either while familiar with its company for many years. Through everything, Christ has been with us, equipping us with His grace, His peace, and His faith to stand fast. His Word has kept our hearts and encouraged our souls, prompting us to persevere and continue to praise. I love the Word. I teach the Word. I minister the Word so that others would know the Truth and be set free.
I pray you would know the Lord and grow in His grace. Just call out to Him, He is there waiting!
